It happens. The main thing I focus on when I just can’t find my swing is not to let that make me any less fun for my group to play with. No need to let my bad game ruin everyone else’s day.

39-51 this past December. I’m a 15 handicap and had never shot in the 30’s before. I was absolutely pumped making the turn and my mind when straight to letting the “I could break 80 today” thoughts slip into my head.

Has anyone out there every had two more contrasting 9 holes in a round?

Yes. Many times.

I may need a therapist after today. I dunno if I should rejoice in the 41 on the front or sell the clubs because of the 57 on the back.

Have a short memory. You’ll be fine.

A couple of years ago I played Craft Farms in gulf shores with my daughter riding along. Got paired with a threesome of guys. I played lights out on the first twelve holes. Made the turn at like 3 over. And then I set up driver and hit a beautiful fade along a dogleg right that landed smack in the middle of the fairway. It was the last good shot I hit. Ended up shooting 91. It happens.

Go back to the range. That is some serious “wheels came off” there.

Everyone know a great range session leads to a terrible round.

When you're on the range, shank your first ten, top the next six and then hit the driver in shapes you've never hit in your life... Do that, and you're guaranteed to go low that day.
