Roll up a towel and place about 8" behind the ball, learn to change your angle of attack and concentrate on hitting the ball on a descending angle vs scooping or hitting up on it.

Move hands forward think hitting down on ball first

Hanging on the back foot and opening my front shoulder too early on the downswing are why I was doing this. It also helped when I sped my tempo up some in the backswing. I had a tendency to overswing coming down (too much arms) to compensate for the more deliberate back swing

As others have said, focus on weight forward, hitting down and keeping your back shoulder up.

You're likely dropping it at some point in the backswing.

Have been struggling with this one myself lately.
