I'm heading out to Hilton Head next week and playing 3 rounds. I'm playing Atlantic Dunes and Heron Point. Harbor town is being aeriated so I don't get to play. Anything I need to know before I show up? I we also not renting a car, how easy is it to get the club houses?

I’ll throw my Hilton head story in I guess. We had early AM tee time and it was just pouring rain. Wash out. They said come back tomorrow no worries. Later in the day they called and said hey come play right now. Cart path only. Play again tomorrow. We won’t charge you for the round just pay the caddie. So we went and played it was soaked out there. Had fun but we were pretty sad we weren’t going to see the course in mint condition. Next day it was completely dry and perfect. It was crazy how well the course drained. Felt like we played two totally different courses. Best part was all the caddie’s stories from tournaments and stuff.

I check a few day ago, but look like weather is going to be a non factor.

I live in the area. Both are good courses, you’ll have a good time. It’s finally hot as balls, but if that doesn’t bother you the weather looks great. Happy to answer any questions I can.

Furbs - I’m actually worried about making my 8:30 tee times since we’re not renting a car. We are staying in a villa in Harbor town.

I can understand that. I’ve heard Uber has been a little slow/low availability around here. There’s some local transport companies you can probably schedule something with if you don’t mind paying a little more. Diamond Transport is the one I see around town the most but I’m sure there’s others.

Please give an update on the courses. I'm playing the three Palmetto Dunes courses in October and looking for a few more courses to add.

I’ll check them out. Thanks.

I’ll try to post some pictures of the courses as well.

If you aren't staying in Hilton Head, add extra time to the drive. On a map, it doesn't look very far, but it's a lot of 2-lane roads in and out. Only takes one old lady in a Buick land yacht to back the traffic up big time.
