Gotta hop on the Mystic train. Awesome track, fantastic conditions and really tough!

I have heard from 2 different sources that some investors are looking at reopening The Falls GC in New Ulm Tx. I hope that it happens.

The Wilderness is a great course in Lake Jackson Tx. Always in good shape.

Best Hidden Gem is Sunset CC in Orange TX. The Stark family hired Donald Ross in 1928 to build them a private course. I played it last week, greens were like lightning. Course in like a mini Pinehurst.

These are some really good ones. I go through Orange a good bit, never thought of stopping for golf.

When did you play Tempest? I played it this past Spring after a fishing trip and it was a goat ranch. Terrible shape. And tricked up, too.

Played Tempest in September. It was in really good shape and the greens were excellent. The two disappointments were the driving range and really firm teeboxes.

To your point about playing in the early springtime, the redesign is still only about a year old so the new sod was probably still patchy.

Sounds awesome, never heard of it. When are we going play it?
