I know it’s a tough recovery, but are you able to putt some.
Have you tried any new putters?

I confirmed Bopper is alive, he likes one of my Instagram posts today, of course it was about my new wedge

Any details about this club you’d like to share?

Alchemy-golf.com, new Houston based. Did a fitting the other day and used it all weekend, so far a winner!

Never heard of them, just looked at the website, seems like they are priced well. What do you like about the wedge?
I like supporting local businesses. And what’s the details on the fitting?

The grind is very playable and versatile. The fitting was spending about 45 minutes hitting lots of different shots out at Royal Oaks. Played Grand Pines this weekend and was very pleased.

How were the greens? They were struggling earlier in the year.

Greens rolled fine but are thin, I think it's gonna be a rough winter out there.

I am alive and well. Thank you for asking.
My surgery was more intense than what was expected.
I am doing PT right now to try to get rid of the muscle spasms in my right Trap.
I am trying a professional massage on Monday to work on the spasms and the scar( no happy ending) and using a tens unit.
I can putt and short chip work right now. If everything goes according to plan, will probably play my first round after Thanksgiving.
I have the new Spider ZT putter right now and I really like it.

If Cleathecat says they are quality then you can bank on it.
We have known each other ever since the bombsquadgolf days and that has been 20 years ?
Lord the equipment that we have gone through since then lol.
He is still the best fairway wood player that I have ever played with. I called him the "Chef" because of the way he carved everything in with a fairway wood.
I was going to pull the trigger on a 52 degree model but they didn't list any graphite shafts available on the website. I will have to call them.

I like my Wilson gap wedge but might still get an Alchemy cause I'm a sick man. Got Whispering Pines next week and Covey in 2 weeks so having to work into form. Also need a CC 9mm, the exciting life I lead.

You are running in some high cotton brother.
Let us know how the Covey is .

I absolutely love Covey. I'm not gonna say it's better than Whispering Pines but I wouldn't argue with someone who said they thought it was.

Thanks for the heads up. I should be back in the neighborhood around Christmas. I’ll just play one of the other neighborhood courses.

Miller wasn't very good a month ago either

That's saying something because Whispering Pines is pretty awesome.
