I take it back solid. Coming through to a proper finish is killing me. I basically swing like I’m trying to hit a baseball I come around my body and finish basically around my waist versus completing the swing finishing around my neck. When I’ve got a lesson he sets a noodle up in front of me and challenges me not to hit it with my follow through.

Sucks. Can’t figure out how to complete the swing.

Similar to putting an alignment rod in the ground to help your back swing you can do it on the follow through. Go slow a few times and you will learn to let your hands release down the target line.

I would focus on the position of my right elbow. If you have flying right elbow it is a death sentence.

Meaning put a glove in your arm pit and not let it drop?

Elbow position would be my first guess.

Right elbow stays close to you body on take away. Left elbow close to your body on impact.

Try the stork practice swing. If you are right-handed, set up normally. Then take your right foot and put it back about 6-10 inches behind your aim line to where your right big toe is touching in a tiptoe like setup.

Weight will be on left side. Use it on the range and see how it works. It helps me swing through. It is a good drill. I just anchor my right toe back. Good luck.
