Golf is such a crazy game. The highs and lows are almost too much to take. Most bipolar round ever, seemed to hit great putts but nothing dropped. Struck the ball well, hit water and ob a few times but nbd. Chipping hammered me

I shot a 102 yesterday. Found the back of every greenside bunker. I can get out of the sand 9/10 times, never really phases me. That said I'm rarely on the far side of a greenside bunker. Took me three strokes to get out of one of them, just a complete blow up. Bladed another one about 70 yards.

I was 7 over on the 4 par 5 holes, and I birdied one of them.

I have a hard time not letting one bad shot turn into two

yeahhh gotta reduce those penalty strokes.

My mantra is "No 6s." You don't want to bogey a par 5, doubles on par 4 will add up quick, and you certainly don't want to triple a par 3.

I've had 11 pars and still shot 85. I'm always good for a few blow up holes every round. Yesterday, I was -1 thru 3, then +1 thru 4, and shot a front 9 48. Two 7s, an 8, and a 9 in route to a 94.

I played holes 1-5 at +8 yesterday then played 6-18 at +1.
I wish that ending golfer would show up for a whole round

short game is a scorecard killer. If you can consistently two putt from anywhere on the green and get up and down from 10-15 feet off the green you'll easily take 10 strokes off your game. That's why I spend far more time at the range on short irons, chipping, and putting than any other club in my bag. Unfortunately the CCP virus shut my local course down, and when it did reopen for play, the range and practice greens remained closed. That's my lame excuse ~

Thing about short game too is that it takes zero strength, we could all have sick short games

Played Copper Mill yesterday. Blasted my drive on 1. Had a pretty decent approach which left me with about 25 ft. putt for Eagle. 3 putted for par.

Chunked my tee shot on 2 into the hazard and ended up with a triple (6).

Then proceeded to make 2 birdies, 10 pars, & 4 bogeys to tie a personal best of 77.

Golf is weird. But so addicting. Want to play again today.
