Do we have any members here? I'm considering joining, but figured I'd see how folks like it. I've heard there are some standing tee times for members, so some time slots basically never open.

For some reason of all the BR area courses this one doesn’t get talked about much on here.

It's a decent course, but kinda an odd layout and further out. I'd play it a lot more if I lived out that way, but I prefer The Island, Copper, Santa Maria, and Beaver depending on condition over Greystone.

Still a good time whenever we make it out there and a nice changeup from the others, but not sure if I'd want to play it every round.

It is funny how it doesn't get talked about much though.

I will say, having to leave the driver in the bag on a bunch of holes including a couple of the par 5's doesn't make for as enjoyable of a round IMO. I hit more drivers at Webb than I do there. Long live the long ball

The par 5 that forces you to hit into a gulley is a bullshite hole.

The rest of the course is pretty good.

Its a shot placement course for sure, gotta pick your spots.

I personally think it is a fun course. It is different than the others in the area. It usually is in good shape when I go to play it. Usually it is just about the only course in the area you aren't going to play a 5 plus hour round on. I agree it does not get talked about on here. Probably not a bad thing though.

Many of those standing tee times allow anyone to play in their game. Most are just $15 or $20 max bet and you just show up.

The course is certainly not a hackers paradise. It actually tests your ability off the tee and you have to use nearly all the clubs in your bag. If you feel you aren’t using the driver enough, back up a tee box on the par 4s and 5s. The double dogleg can be a goofy hole but I’ve seen people cut the corner and have a shot at the green. The safer shot is staying short of the ditch which is now rough.

Speaking of rough, it’s really thick out there right now with all the rain and inability to cut as often as they want. You can easily lose your ball just off the fairway.

Still only about $400 per month with cart plan and range plan. No initiation.

That’s high for that course.

It’s $250 without cart or range plan. It’s the cheapest membership option besides BREC.

It seems like the range is never freaking open.

Not under this GM. If carts are off path it’s open. It has taken a beating this summer prior to these last two weeks of rain.

More money flowing in is good for the course. I know it almost or did go bankrupt years ago, then someone bought it out. It would suck to live there and have the course go under.

18 minutes from my house. Tee times are mostly available. People are nice and course is typically in good shape for me. The bar has cold mugs for beer and food is good too.

Affordable and convenient!
