Do you think its time they back off some from the tourneys, the fairways recently have been getting sandy

This makes me think you're trolling. If there's been any "problem" with the fairways recently, it's that they've been a little long toward the end of the week because they're growing so fast. They're extremely full. If you see sand in divots, that's a good thing, not bad.

Evangeline is Oakbourne, Cajun is Le Triomphe, Prien is Lake Charles CC

a lot of clubs do an annual public 4 ball tournament. They can be really hard to get into though as priority goes on who played last year then to members. So if it's a good tournament it's usually full and to have a chance to get in you need to register right when it becomes available.

Not trolling at all, i was thinking about 10,11, and 12 just getting so much play from the tourneys in the spring time. I havent gotten to play in my game out there in over a month or so, if they healed that quickly then thats great to hear. This exact convo was being talked about by the members in my last round, sorry for the confusion

Your pic is a troll and your name is "The Burner"... that just has "alter" written all over it.

No issues on any of those holes. There maybe be more divots in certain areas because of the rolling fairways funneling balls to the same spots, but that's not specific to any course.

A month ago, members I know were complaining about too thick fairways. Just can't please everyone I suppose.

this is really looking for something to complain about. If keeping the fairways a little longer makes them more lush I'm all for it.

The issue was weather. The course is closed every Monday for maintenance. Sometimes a private tournament is allowed that afternoon, but that's they day the entire course is gone over. If weather keeps the equipment off of certain areas, they try again Thursday. Greens are tended to every day, of course.

There was a week where the fairways couldn't be completely cut either day. I think the front was done, but the back was still too wet. People complained that weekend. I agree; they're looking for things to bitch about.

I see some "questionable" players in yours.

I just want my partner to make par when I drop a few doubles and I’ll take it from there.
