TXG choose GC over TM because it is more accurate indoors.

And Cool Clubs chose TrackMan because it’s more accurate indoors. You can’t really driver fit with a Quad. If you’re a high launch, low spin player, the ball goes for miles.

I’d just recommend trying both. I’m also really intrigued by the new Uneekor.

Then you should look at Full Swing simulators.

How much does a track man setup run you? Thinking $20-25?

TrackMan simulator on average will run about $65k on the low end...

I researched them all and I almost went with Full Swing - but unless you are going to 100% use it at home and for hanging out with your buddies and not game improvement- I would not choose that one - it’s going to end up as much as TrackMan once you do all the pre install steps including a hell of a lot of specialized lighting in your simulator space.

Full Swing Golf does have the best putting green in the industry for practice - but again that starts at 60k... it’s amazing but no way in hell Mama would have went for that - we got the pro putt system for a practice green in our basement and that does the job

Other high end simulators are HD Golf - I looked at that too but that’s not portable and there is a ton of pre work as well that’s very expensive. With Trackman you can use iPhones as all of your cameras for Full Swing as well as HD - you have to buy special high speed cameras...

I’ve always wondered how the simulators can tell the spin on the ball (hook, slice, etc)?

With an indoor only unit, you can do it yourself for around 30k

For turnkey, it’s in the mid 50s

It depends whether your are outside and what model you have. They measure in different ways, flightscope and trackman vs GC4. I am a certified flightscope instructor/fitter as I went to the academy, they all have pros and cons.
