Are these new shoes designed to wear without socks ? I may be behind the times here.
I was looking at some Puma's Ignites today and it had a liner inside that looked like it would make it tough to wear some golf socks with it ?
Then I noticed a lot of footjoy models with the sock band...
Looking online at the ad's , they show everyone wearing so the shoes by themselves..

My ignites don’t have a liner or anything like a sock. Definitely should wear socks with them

No we just wear low cut socks and blister our heels in the name of fashion

Yeah I believe they are the same. I wore a pair of ankle socks with them last weekend and it was 70°+. The shoes were comfortable walking 18, moreso than the pair of Adidas I wore for years. I don't think I'll wear them without socks though.
One thing I'll comment on is lacing them up. I wish it was easier to get them snugly tied up without first loosening up the laces all the way to the bottom. I don't think the socks were contributing to the problem.

I am really torn on whether to keep them or not.
I am going to try them on again tomorrow with a thin pair of socks.
But this shoe is a very unusual fit to me.
Btw, there are some really ugly golf shoes out this year IMO.

I had a pair like that, always wore socks with them. I thought they were super comfortable.
I think adidas makes a pair that has something even more confusing

I have some True Knit II. They are super comfortable, but I still wear their no show socks to keep down on the funk a sock less golf shoe would result in.
