That is probably relative to where you live. If you live in Houston and drive an hour to play golf and you are still in Houston, then it is "in" the area.

If you live in Lake Chuck and consider a drive to Laffy or Beaumont as a major undertaking, then it is not "in" the area. Maybe in the vicinity.

Check out the new Mallard Cove in LC and The National in Westlake. Way cheaper and good lay outs also.
