On shots from 120 or less.

I hit some good ones, but also sometimes I dip or sway which leads to fat or thin shots.

I hit golf balls with feet together.
I do back foot- back.

But maintaining the width I think would help be square the face more consistently.

When I take more club and just swing 3/4, I seem to strike it better.

What are your keys on say 9 iron through most lofted wedge?

I will rarely hit a full wedge. I will club up and keep my weight forward through entire swing. Never shifting. You have to keep you belt buckle turning left for a righty through impact and that’s how u eliminate dipping. This also helps with low point which is key when hitting wedges.

If you’re right handed, torque your right knee. You can’t sway back at all if you do.

I do so by very slightly twisting my right foot to the right after I’ve addressed it and ready to swing.

From there it’s just selecting the right club. Launch monitor gives me a good range on my clubs, so I’m playing the yardage to cover any trouble. Helps keep a more consistent swing.

I suspect a big part of the inconsistency is a result of trying to make the yardage fit the club instead of the other way around.

Put pressure on the inside of your back foot throughout your swing. Sort of pushing down with the inside ball of your back foot. It helps on long irons, too.
