Got fit a month ago, below are my specs, curious on this boards opinion. A little concerned the iron shafts may be too light.

Wedges - SM8 54D and 58K with Dg S400 shafts

Irons - cobra forged tec heads, c-taper lite 115x

Driving iron - Taylormade UDI Diamana Thump 90g C

3wood - taylormade sim TI rocket 3 wood hazardus smoke blue rdx 80g TX

Driver - Titleist tsi4 8 degrees, still testing shafts but either Ventus 7x, or a smoke rdx, or graphite AD 7x

Based on everything else, I would bet
your specs don’t look far off from mine.

105 is a hair light for me, and probably you.

There’s nothing wrong with going back and trying more options.

I’d def listen to your fitter more than anyone on here but find it interesting or odd you have 75 or so grams in your driver, 80 in your 3 wood but only 115g shafts in your irons. I play the 7x in driver and 8tx in 3 wood with 132 gram shafts in my irons. Seems pretty lite just looking at it but if the numbers call for it they just call for it.

I honestly think it was more about the c-taper 130x isn’t a standard option with cobra, but the c-taper lite is so this is your best “fit”. Also don’t think he had the c-taper 130x to swing for some reason. I did have the opportunity somewhere else to swing the c-taper 130x in the mizuno 921 forged head and they felt great. His only other mention on the c-taper lites was that when the shaft gets longer you don’t want to get too heavy, my irons will be + 1/2 longer than standard.

What? I could see where you may may not want a 125g 4i, but that doesn’t mean swing a hyper lite 9i

If the fitter doesn’t have most options then I’d personally go somewhere else. There’s def middle ground from 130x to 115g. There’s 120-125 as well

Yeah I think I might just go somewhere else to double check. I’m pretty happy with the 3 wood and driving iron fitting. I do think the c-taper profile shaft is my best fit. I’m a little wary of CC due to their prices, but they also have every combo possible. Might find somewhere else outdoors as well to see ball flight.

If this is the case, then you did not get a proper fitting and should look elsewhere to find a greater array of fitting options. if his excuse is that he does not have the 130x shaft then you did not get all the information to make the most informed decision.

Club champion is expensive but those guys over there are good guys. They def don’t force you to buy anything and these days you can go online and order direct from the manufacturer with your specific specs and skip the middle man. Only issue is lead times are forever and a day.

Agree - really good guys.

AND CC will pure the shafts of the irons for a slight charge. Worth it - no doubt.
