Going in for my first fitting and have no idea on what to expect. Anything to be cognizant about?

Where are you doing it?
I suggest going in being Brand agnostic. Don’t ask what they are giving you. But pay attention to feels and give feedback.

Main thing is to stay calm and not try and overswing, keep a good swing tempo and not go 1000% on your swing speed.

In general, go into a fitting open minded in terms of brands. You can also ask to try to be fit into "stock" shaft offerings rather than exotic options. Expect to hit quite a few balls so stretch, hydrate, etc.
If it's at Club Champion, expect the build sheet to be $2-4k over what it should cost. Puring is snake oil. Better off getting the fitting details and ordering yourself, but they usually provide a proper fitting experience.
