I'm currently a 4-handicap, and while I don't stick to one particular brand of golf ball, I can tell you I don’t play Pinnacle, Top-Flite, Callaway Warbird, or similar types. For me, it's all about feel, and those balls tend to feel like rocks.

I played it for a while. Best mid iron ball ever. I lost some distance off the tee and spin around the green though.

This is why golf is such an interesting game. AVX is the longest ball I've ever gamed off the tee

Not sure if you've tried the latest generation of them but them spin much better now around the green. I've gotten a few to back up for me too.

I've play both the Chrome Tour X and Chrome Tour Triple Diamond. Both are fantastic balls. The X is similar in performance to the Pro V1x and the TD is basically the Cally version of the Left Dash. I found the TD to spin more with the irons and feel softer than Left Dash. If you have good club head speed, you can use it. MyGolfSpy's ball test showed it being the longest ball for high AND low swing speed off the driver. The X is long but definitely high launching and drops and stops on the greens. I love that ball. Has great greenside spin as well so adjust accordingly if you use it.

The Chrome Tour balls are very durable. Callaway knocked it out of the park with this lineup.
