Do I need longer sticks?

I'm 6-5 and getting older. Never have been great at the game, but enjoy playing. Someone told me that at my height, I should have clubs that are 1 1/2 to 2 inches longer. The only irons I feel that may help me are my short irons (literally). I see that there are club sets that are designed for taller players. Anyone have any experiences with them? Good idea or not?

You’d definitely benefit by at least an inch, I’d think.

I would try to hit some longer clubs at a demo day and see how they feel. I’m 6’3” and was fitted for +1/2” inches for irons but -1/2” in my 3 wood and driver. I looked at the guy like he was crazy when he told me try a shorter shaft in my 3w and driver but I hit them way better.

6-3 here, I swing 1” longer irons, regular driver/woods
