Just saw this. Not sure what to make of it. Guess it means he cares about the FedEx Cup. It’s a lot of money and all but I feel like a gold medal would mean more.

I think you are going to see a lot of people really consider whether risking the corona virus is worth it. This is worse than Zika and that kept a few people from playing the last Olympic cycle.
Honestly, I don't think I'd be going to Tokyo in July. I'd probably wait until closer to the event to declare, but I get it.
I'm sure the schedule being jammed together doesn't help, which could be his real reason.

To be honest if I had the money these guys have on the line I probably wouldn’t either. I’m sure most the PGA and NBA guys won’t be taking many chances.
Now if I was a track guy, swimmer, etc and this was my pinnacle I’d go without hesitation.

Don’t blame him one bit. I don’t consider it an Olympic sport. Kind of like baseball and basketball and hockey
