How often do you guys choke up to change distances, how often do you do it and what kind of changes in distance are you creating?
I’m talking 115 yards or so in.

I like to choke down a little and flight my wedges into the green low. For example, I can hit my gap wedge 115-120, but I'll use it 100 yards out and just flight it in low. Tons more control this way for me. Same with my sand wedge. I can hit it 95-105 yards, but I'll use it from 80-90 yards and flight it in low for more control. My GIR percentages have gone up a good bit doing this.

Usually only on windy days, hitting into the wind, I’ll take 1-2 more club, choke up on the grip, & try to put a solid swing…

Agree with all of the above.
Also, I take less than a full swing when choking up (maybe 3/4 or 4/5 swing) and I use less wrist, more of a punch swing.

I have 3 hand positions on my irons for about 3-5 yard changes in distance. My wedges I only choke up. All the way to the shaft on chipping/pitching, and about halfway for flighted shots.
