Caddie yells at an obnoxious fan yelling in the middle of his golfers backswing… more news at 10.

I watched probably 30 minutes of the LIV tournament. This happened not long after I turned it on. His reaction was totally warranted. It wasn't like it was during a practice swing. He was addressed and about to start his swing and it was a very loud shout. Any golfer on any tour would have backed off and told the fan to chill. Not even remotely something he needs to be hated on for.

Absolutely, but then you’ve got people who think like this..

I agree and am not hating on him at all. I like Rahm a lot.

My original point was that Rahm seems t be in the news a lot with things concerning LIV. I am not sure he is 100% happy there, but it was generational money that he certainly couldn't turn down.

He’s still their biggest star even with Bryson’s great year, of course they will talk about him. Especially when he hasn’t won since the 2023 Masters

He is. He would like to play in some PGA tournaments if his schedule allows, but he is committed to LIV

Epic choke job, makes McIllroy's US Open pale in comparison.

Not quite, even shambles thought they were pretty comparable

ETA: solid month in Europe despite the choke job

Him and Xander shooting 38 & 39 on the back while Scottie shoots 29 is a crazy difference. Scottie made it look so easy.

Yeah despite the biggest gags of his career, Rory had a solid 4 tournament run too

RBC T4
Memorial T15
US Open 2
Scottish Open T4

Guess what? Neither he nor Rahm are judged like other golfers. Rahm choked in the Olympics. He just did. It was really bad and there's no way to spin it any other way

Not even sure what you’re trying to argue here

I started this thread predicting he would win during this 4 week stretch.
He did & despite not winning 1 of the 2 big ones, it was a good month for him.

I’m Not saying he didn’t

No, you didn’t. You said “the open or the Olympics”

Even you showed your true colors, and honestly everyone’s true colors. You don’t respect LIV wins as real wins. Your subconscious won out. That’s why you didn’t include LiV events in your questioning because you know they don’t actually mean anything

Nah, I asked the question about those two.

It was a betting question ya fool. Sportsbooks don’t give odds for them

Correct, because you know liv wins don’t matter. If you did, you would have simply asked “will he win in Europe”. But you didn’t. Because liv wins don’t carry any water and you know it, and more impotently Rahm knows it

I see you’re in a mood today.

Just because sportsbooks dont let me bet on it, has no impact on what I think about it.

Rahm won a tournament for the first time since 2023 Masters.

Fell apart like a cheap suit in a rainstorm. But, he did get all that LIV $$$…

So did Xander as did Rory at US Open… that’s golf for everyone not named Scottie

Dude

Rahm was -2400 after the 10th hole

Rory only ever got to -375 at the us open

Xander was never close to either in odds yesterday

Stop trying to make Rahms choke in the same universe. His is in a league of its own compared to those

-2400 with 8 holes left is a historical level of choke for a top golfer

Quit basing it just off of odds.

Rahm is worse than Xander because he shot a 31 on front 9?

He started the day T1 & shot a 73

Ok? Rory had the lead with 4 holes to go & bogeyed 3 of 4. Rahm was already out of it with 4 holes left.

It’s really not a “whose choke was worse” though. They all choked
