You’re right. It was 275 with 3000 spin.

Right. The bet is there for you to take. Prove every thing I said was wrong and every launch monitor graphic I posted was juiced as you said I beleive
Best case you win, worst case you lose but get to play golf with a 6 foot bronzed beauty with thick hair

What’s the bet? If you average 275 off an outdoor trackman? Or are we playing against each other? Are we both going off Trackman and betting who averages longer? I’d win them all fwiw.

We can go to loft 18 or we can use Beau Chene trackman. You pick

In response to these:

And my “low” ones are still around 14

You said

You simply refuse to beleive anything I post

I don’t think I have seen a single player hit in as short as 282 carry
I’ve seen it plenty lol.
You have to remember that you only see like 25% of the field on tv. There are plenty of tour players that don’t hit it THAT far. You probably don’t know their names because they aren’t in that elite group you see on tv every weekend but they exist.

Right. Which is why I am giving you the option to use the outdoor BC trackman for this. I’ll get some real balls and I will whack away and we can watch the numbers together
Or we may need to to buy and bring your own monitor to fulfill your needs.

Gonna be honest. You don’t come across as someone I want to actually be around much less waste a day watching you hit 50+ balls trying to average over 275 launching it 18° in the air.

Not shocking you expect people to not want to be around you.

Dude you talk so much shite about how every launch monitor is wrong. When asked to come play a free round of golf because of course you must be right, you completely walk away from it
Also this is great
I posted data showing my average range ball carry was 263 at BC. You said range balls aren’t any different to me
However, in another thread

And to be clear range balls are no good either. Too hard and often limited flight as well. Trackman has settings to counter give you adjusted number that take into account using range balls.

quote:This is an interesting strawman. Trackman is excellent outdoors. So is GC quad but it’s also best indoors and it gets club data. But I stand by my comment on your numbers. That ball speed, spin, and launch do not result in that distance. Youre more than welcome to plug them in here where the total is less than 300.

quote:False. There is a difference of 5-10 yards depending on conditions. More for shite, old ones. They are different for drivers and wedges.

ETA: Pretty sure I said this in reference to getting fitted. Do you disagree?

Right. Maybe it’s just tv bias
This, but biased to the players playing good. I did shot link at Nola a couple yrs and you see everyone come through. The bottom qtr of the field is OB, rough, chunking chip shots. The top qtr of the field is not making near as many unforced errors.

When I or anyone thinks “what’s your distance”, it’s the distance of a stock shot with that club. Including knock downs etc etc is skewing data
Pretty sure I never mentioned knockdowns or hero'd shaped shots.. But more along the lines of regular shots with thins, fats, toes heals, course conditions, weather..etc... that's what I was referring to.. And pros are not immune from bad shots..
I mean you do know how averages work right?? It takes i to account of all tour pros.. Not just elite distance monsters like Rory who I think averaged something absurd like 325ish

quote:I posted a picture of outside trackman average of 261 yards at beach chene with range balls. You then emphatically used that as proof I can’t actually hit 275 average.
ETA: Pretty sure I said this in reference to getting fitted. Do you disagree?
You walking that back?
Because that would only need a 5% increase to be 275, which is the low end of any range ball reduction with driver. Realistically, it would be closer to 10% for your average range ball with driver
This is it again. Outdoor trackman with range balls from Beau chene. If you have played there, you know these are bottom barrell yellow rocks
