Calloway super soft

I am not a great golfer, so let me preface with that.
I shoot 80s when I’m playing my best. Lots of 90s.
I swear today the Calloway super soft just felt weird. Didn’t fly as far. Felt knuckle ball like.
I’m sure it was my game but could it have been the ball?
Played a vice “pro” and Costco balls usually.

Lack of spin has got to be the culprit. I hate hitting anything labeled super soft. I think if you have a moderately quick swing speed those balls I feel negatively affect performance.

Callaway super softs are usually for low swing speed golfers
Tbh I don't mind them when messing around on a chipping green. They tend to flop really high for me and roll in the cup at a high rate. Vs the ProV1's that tend to come off lower trajectory and spin so much that it's hard to get one rolling directly into the cup.

Were they Calloway supersofts OR Callaway supersofts.
I ask, because you may have some Temu balls.
The other question would be how cold were they? If you've kept them outside and they haven't warmed up, they'll be a little harder and knucklier this time of year.

Heh. Callaway. I just hit several knuckle ball drives.
Tho I was really hitting lots of low hooks.

First time using them in cold weather? The ball will absolutely fly different in cold weather if so.

Love Calloway supersofts. I’m not a long knocker and I get a ton of run out with them.

Pretty sure it’s my crappy golf.

Make sure to checkout the work MyGolfSpy has published over the last few years regarding golf ball performance. Their data seems to suggest that soft golf balls= Slower ball speeds and don’t necessarily mean you’re getting better spin performance. This is regardless of swing speed.
