I was in your situation 4 years ago. Went to Edwin Watts and for about $500 got a decent setup of used clubs. There will be a big technology leap with equipment so don't spend too much as you will want to replace piece by piece as the years go by.

Same boat. The Golf WRX has a lefties Swap Shop and I’ve done well finding drivers/hybrids at Callaway Preowned. Bought various things at RockBottom, Global, and even ebay. Lot of lefties stuff on eBay if you have the patience for it.

I am upgrading and selling off all my old clubs. Club champion offered me 110$ for a full set of TaylorMade burner 2.0 irons. They have new grips which alone are worth 80$. Are you interested in those?
