Especially not with everyone cheating...

-22 with 18 one putts... Birdied the 3's and 4's and eagled the 5's. Wasn't the toughest course in the world but also wasn't a pitch and putt.

I’ve told this story on here before, But I think it was a pencil whipped -18. I hated every minute of it, but It was my customer’s event so I couldn’t say anything. The team was my customer, me, a former pro baseball player and a former Dallas Cowboy... this guy:
Former Cowboy had role in $25 million Ponzi scheme
Guess who kept the card.

Played in a Doug Pederson celebrity event at Southern Trace several years back and one of our guys showed up hungover and did not even swing a club to get loose and did not hit a tee shot on the par 4 that we started on . . . he jarred a shot from 140 yds on his first swing. Next hole was a par 5 and we had a tap-in eagle. We started -10 after eight holes and then began to fade as the celebratory beer kicked in. We still won but it was only a score of -14
Our celebrity was former Green Bay receiver Bill Schroeder who was trying to break into the long drive circuit at the time. He could could knock the hell out of the ball but not many stayed within the boundaries of the course.

-18 (54) at Oakwing last week. The guys who won it were the group ahead of us. They had two guys that could really play and another who seemed to hit one good shot every hole, most of them putts, but was all over the place on his other shots. The last guy seemed to be having fun at least. One of the guys that could play pretty well was hitting from the seniors tees. As best we could tell, they didn't use but one mulligan on an eagle putt (sank it), and they chipped in for eagle on #5.
My gut tells me it was legit, but I have no way of really knowing.

There was a group at a scramble out at Beau Chenne back in 2012-2013 that had Chase Daniel, Zach Strief, one of my dad's friends, and his son and they were -20.
I 100% believe it was legit, but it was one of those goofy tournaments where you could buy mulligans for $50, $20 per player on a par 3 to play from the ladies tee, $50 to tee off from however far you could throw a football (Chase probably got them an extra 50 yards)
eta: same tournament was also the best I was ever a part of. -15 I think. John Stinchcomb was riding around the course meeting folks, I smoked a 3 wood to 10 feet on a par 5 while he was watching and he let me hold his super bowl ring. It was the size of my palm

I’ve shot -21 at least half a dozen times. Team handicaps required to do this: +5(Web Tour Member), +1 state mid am champ, 2 handicap, and 6 handicap. Scrambles are always played at very short distances so when you have three guys hitting it 300+ you’re going to birdie every par 5 and should eagle almost all the par 5s. The tough part is making birdie on every par 3.
Now if you don’t have four golfers with handicaps that average around zero it’s not possible.
My favorite is when you see someone post 20 or better and not a single player has a handicap in GHIN.
