Arccos Golf Air and Rangefinder.

My rangefinder finally died on me so I started looking for a replacement. The majority of people I’ve talked to about the Arccos Golf sensors love them and highly recommend. So in early May I bought the discounted Arccos Air and Rangefinder bundle. It took just over a month to ship and when I tried to setup the rangefinder the supplied 3V battery was dead. So I couldn’t use it on the first time out. Arccos did reimburse me to buy a replacement. Next time out the Rangefinder kept on crashing, had to do a hard reset, disconnect from my IPhone Bluetooth. After 5 holes I gave up on it, I’m now having to contact Arccos and try to get a replacement. Anyone here have the Rangefinder?
I only have two rounds on the Arccos Air and so far I’m keeping hope that the system continues to improve on detecting what club I’m hitting on every shot. The Air is an upgraded replacement to the older sensors that you have to place in butt end of the grip. The Air seems cheaply made about the size of a matchbook that you keep in your front pocket.

I have had Arccos for a few years and love it. That being said, I dont trust the air and will keep my sensors. I had the sensor for a few years and one day got an email saying "Air" is now available on it, and to just take the sensors off. I am leaving them on. I understand that it is accurate more often than not, but I want arccos for yardages, and if i chunk my 5 iron i dont want to have to go in and change it from a pitching wedge to a poorly struck 5 iron.

Hopefully the Air continues to improve, but small things like playing a shot inside 50yds it selects my 60 degree instead of my 56. Same thing with chunking a 5i. When I was trouble shooting my laser issues, I realized that after the first year free subscription, next year will cost me $199 each for the Air and Smart Laser. That’s crazy. Good news is that Arccos finally responded to my warranty claim and will send me a new replacement smart laser.

I believe they have a bundle deal for both subscriptions however I think it only saves you $100.

I think Arcos sucks and is not a game improvement tool… it’s a diary for golfers
Roundabout is actually a game improvement tool - quite a good one
Arcos management is a joke and churn subscription IMHO
