50 minutes.

The website still says that the clubhouse is scheduled to break ground... in 2016.

Again, I’m acknowledging it was a nice course. I’m acknowledging it had management issues. I don’t know why y’all are so triggered.

I’m not triggered, I’ll play it til it closes again, which may or may not happen, we shall see, MSY isn’t far away when I wanna go play some real golf.

Business that hasn’t been open since 2016 has a website out of date? No shite?

And I don’t care what Google says, it’s closer to 30 min than 50

I don’t need a clubhouse more than what they have now, I don’t need a pool or tennis courts, I have all of that at the club close to my house and never use any of it except the bar and occasionally the restaurant.
People like you aren’t exactly plentiful in that area. Thibby talks about it being close to sustainable on its own but that was with the promise of a growing club with nice facilities and a growing residential base neither of which happened. Even if the guy stayed alive, I’m not sure it would have survived much longer than it did.

It was open into early 2017. I just find it funny that it’s still there on the site.

I’ll play it too. I keep saying it’s a good course always in good condition. Might get a round or two in this summer.

Wrong again. They were running near break even before oilfield collapse without real estate sales.

I don’t care either way. I have already written it off so to be able to play it again is a welcome surprise

Problem is it most likely would’ve, he had more money to spend on it than we would’ve ever lived long enough to see it close, unfortunately dividing up his estate didn’t include people who loved golf the way he did.

I’m not trying to be an a-hole. I have actual information directly from people involved, not hearsay
