Anyone use an online service to establish a USGA handicap?

Have you tried The Grint app for your phone? It's pretty simple and straight forward

What state do you live in? Reason I ask is some states have E-Clubs that allow for actual GHIN numbers. GHIN is industry gold standard for handicaps as it is part of the USGA. For example, here is NC and SC LINK. It’s $40 but you won’t have any verification issues for handicaps. Google your home state for similar.
I know some who use USHandicap. It’s $30 and cheaper than GHIN but I think it’s worth the extra $10 to go with GHIN, esp if you need USGA.
Grint as mentioned is good, but if you’re planning on playing in tournaments or events then Grint isn’t recognized.

thanks man, I just signed up for myscorecard.com and joined an official USGA recognized club on there, looks like they are 100% official.

I’m just waiting until 2020 when they go to the world golf handicap system.
