Looking to replace my 10 year old Bushnell.
I came across several YouTube videos reviewing the Cube. The marketing talking points talk about an environmental mode that calculates elevation, humidity and slope to give you a real world yardage. Also, you can supposedly get a yardage using a caddy mode if you’re playing under cart path only conditions. Basically you shoot a yardage to your ball, then shoot a yardage to the pin and it calculates the final yardage.
Anyone have real world use of this rangefinder?

I do not have any experience with this rangefinder, however, I do have experience with a rechargeable range finder. I had a precision pro that had some of the same features (humidity, weather, etc) and it did nothing for me. Also, having to remember to recharge the range finder was a pain in my arse. If I forgot then I may only get a few holes out of it and don’t have the luxury of just replacing the battery. U less you are very vigilant about recharging this after every round, I would stay away from rechargeable range finders based on my experience.

Great point, my old Bushnell uses a 9Volt Battery. I would also be concerned about the internal battery once it eventually dies.

I do not, but when looking to replace my broken Nikon rangefinder during Covid, all that was available was a Blue Tees with slope. Very impressive packaging, jolt feedback, and plenty accurate considering my skills. Have been very satisfied with it after 3 years…

Whatever you do, don't get the Pinned Prism rangefinder. I ordered one to replace my bushnell without slope, and it's the worst golf product I've ever bought. Doesn't pick anything up most of the time. Not even front of green.

After looking at several YouTube reviews I went ahead and got one. I was able to get it for $300.00. Hopefully it lasts for a couple of years.

For $300, I would expect this to last at least 5 years.

Took it to Tour 18 in Houston today, they had some holes cart path only. The caddie mode works as advertised. You shoot the distance to your ball from the cart path, then shoot the pin and it calculates your distance. We tested it against a newer Bushnell and they were within a yard or two. Biggest gripe is that it’s really light so it can be hard to lock in on the pin is your hands aren’t steady. I would also be worried about accidentally dropping it because the case doesn’t have a good grip. I’ll have to order a silicone case for it.
