Anybody been to Cypress Bend on Toledo Bend recently?

Taking a guys trip there in a couple weeks and was hoping to see if the course was still in good condition. Went last year first weekend of August and the course was in pretty good shape. Anybody been recently?

Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are slow but that’s normal. There’s been a lot of rain so I doubt they have been able to mow recently. Hopefully this won’t be a problem in a couple of weeks. Hope you & your buddies enjoy your trip.

This trip was thrown together last minute and it’s about a 2 hr drive for everyone so that had a lot to do with it. But I just checked out Old Waverly and that looks like somewhere we might go for our next trip with a little better planning!

I’d be interested to know how it looks. I played last spring and it was in pretty bad shape. To be fair, the amount of rain they had last spring was insane, and they were doing a ton of drainage work. Hard to do so in the mud. I still love the layout, one of the few places in LA you can play with actual elevation changes and there are some great views on the back nine.

I’ll let you know in a couple weeks! We played the middle part of last summer and it was in really good shape.
