Any advice on things to do at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am when I’m not at the tournament?

I’d call up Cypress Point and get a tee time

Point Lobos Park is gorgeous if you like to hike. We did the whole thing in a few hours. Fun to bum around Carmel, gawk at real estate, taste wine, go in the art galleries. Drive down to Bug Sur is worthwhile. And if the fog won’t lift on the coast drive 30 min back into Carmel Valley Village - the sun will be out and there are nice shops, tasting rooms, bars.

We went this past Memorial Day and had an absolute blast. Didn’t play Pebble but did play Spy. CSB: Randomly got paired up with Rick Nueheisel (sp?). Really nice guy, fun round. Think he shot 74 to my 90 haha.

Tell 'em in the Pro Shop that Jim Nantz said he couldn't make it, but he would pick up the tab.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate it.

How many times did Rick break out his guitar?

If you want a fun time after the tournament later in the night, the bars at Spanish Bay are usually hopping as well as Clint’s place at Mission Ranch. Last year he was in there partying it up.

as another poster said I highly recommend Point Lobos and the drive down to big sur. If you like craft beer alvarado street brewery is really good. Walking around Carmel is cool too.
