Maybe it's because of their creepy family
That giant foot freaked her out. She still talks about it a week later.

Can you tell me more about this one?
It's a very colorful RPG centered around turn based combat where you can capture enemies to serve as familiars. The main character is young boy around 12-13 or so who gets help from a fairy to help him find his mother.
The art and visuals are of super high quality and look a movie. LINK
If I had to compare it to something, it would be Dragon Quest gameplay with some Pokemon mechanics. It's a very fun game and has a ton of charm and humor. It's entirely kid appropriate, although it may scare very young children but no more than some of the earlier Disney movies.

Funny, I was thinking about making a thread on this exact topic. (Great minds, and all that.
)
I'm just starting to get back into playing games regularly, following a break that lasted a number of years. So, I've had some catching up to do.
Anyway, here's my list (in no particular order):
Far Cry 3 (PC)
Mass Effect 1 (I started this back when it originally came out on the 360, but I bought the trilogy for the PC this year and finally finished it.)
Skyrim (PC)
Halo 4 (360, obviously)
NBA 2K14 (PC)
Also, forgive this thread-derailing question, but I have a question for anyone that has completed the ME trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed ME1 and would like to move on to the second game, but (with all negative talk surrounding ME3) there's a strong possibility that I wouldn't continue on to the third game. So, my question is this: Does ME2 rely on ME3 for proper closure (unlike ME1)? In other words, can I stop at ME2 and feel completely satisfied with my experience? (No spoilers, please.)

ME2 was pretty awesome and overall a big improvement over ME1, especially in the character and story development. I wouldn't say it ends on a cliffhanger, exactly, but it certainly ends unresolved. I plan to eventually play ME3 (on PC) despite all of the controversy around the ending.
The sad thing is I'm going to need to hack a save to try and recreate a lot of the choices I made in ME 1 and 2, because I played it on 360 originally and have since sold that system. I want to see how those choices over the 2 games pan out.
ETA: I just want to clarify by saying if the game had ended on a total cliffhanger, I probably would've picked ME3 up asap. It ends in a way that you know you and your crew have a lot of work ahead of you. I hope that makes sense. I can't think of another way to say it without getting into plot specifics.

I haven't played mass effect at all but I loved kotor so I have a feeling I will like it when I get to it.
This thread inspired me to go back and play games from this past year that I really enjoyed.
