I traded Tre Mason and a later 2nd (still have a mid 2nd) for Mariota and a 4th. Released Foles and took the cap hit (ugh) and signed big bruiser back Stepfan Taylor. Very slow but reliable. Can be used as a FB/HB/small TE.

Yeah tre mason is soooo much better than bishop sankey and dexter mccluster. I didn't know what to do when tre took a run 51 yards to the house

Hopefully. I think it should work out since Gurley is outstanding in all areas (speed back/power back/1 cut). He could be in almost any system. Mariota should also open up the game more with his short/mid throwing accuracy + scrambling abilities.
