Oh, and game pass is pretty awesome.
facts.

If you got Ultimate, it comes with PC gamepass.

You can play almost all of your Xbox gamepass games on your PC, and the cloud saves carry over.

Plus there are tons of PC-only games, the Dune: Spice Wars game is the latest

Trying to decide if I want to buy the Series S or just wait until later to upgrade into the next gen.

I play Warzone with my friends for a couple of hours a week (We are dicking off not actually any good). Other than that I have played RDR2 and going back through the Assasin's creed games. (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla). I'm not competitive in any games. But I will play some open world games from time to time.

I already have a 1TB external HD for the xbone that I'm assuming I could just plug into the Series S. Over the next 5 years would I notice a big difference between the S and X you think?

Do you play on a tv or monitor? What are the specs of the tv/monitor you play on?

TV. Old and big or 32' and cheap. So no, graphics aren't really in the equation.

In that case I'd probably go with the S. If you don't have a tv/monitor to support 4K, 60-120Hz, Dolby Vision, etc., I don't think you'll get a lot of the benefits of the X.

Sure, you'd get faster load times and more storage with the X, but I don't know if the price difference is really worth it for you.

There have also been some crazy deals on the Series S recently. Like this one from Amazon where you get a $40 digital credit when you purchase a Series S for $239.99: Wario Tweet

This is what I was thinking as well. Thanks.

I bit the bullet and got the X for $400. No fancy TV yet but we are due for a new one in a year or so.

I love the PS5. Have played the X though and it’s great too - all comes down to exclusives. S is a waste of money.

Honestly if you still love college football just get a used 360. The new one won’t be out until 2024, and Operation Sports has sliders and rosters to make 14 still pretty great.
