i hear this all the time, but i've never been told exactly why

it's like the 360 fanboys have no answer

generally connection issues are on your side though, no matter which system

I find X-Box live to be a much more cohesive and user friendly experience than the PSN

It's more user friendly and more upkeep on the servers.

I get tired of having to update the ps3 constantly for crap I don't even use or do on it. The 360 online is so much better and easier to find friends and join their games. Also I don't want to have to put in a disc anytime I want to watch my netflix. Long Live the 360.

I know my PS3 shows all my friends and what they are playing pretty damn easy.

You have to put a disc in to stream netflix on the PS3?

They aren't the same. It boggles my mind the number of people that freak out about $4/month for the 360

I have both available to me.

I don't think xbl being paid for is really a reason it's better. It's not like ANYONE can't afford the 13 month cards.

I like them both. The xbox live arcade has better games to buy and stuff. PS3's have better connectivity though.

I like both

Other than that, graphics are the same and both are great consoles.

im tired of this damn topic. to each his own

see below comment on a similar thread from a week back or so

quote:

i am a long time 360 player who recently acquired a PS3. 360 - has some of the greatest titles in Halo and Gears of War. i also prefer the 360 controller. PS3 - the graphics on this console are fugging amazing and far better than the 360. much cleaner games. this is the now of gaming and the future. it also has a blu ray player. 360 "used" to have the best online play. however PS3 has made strides to compete with the online system. and if 360 has 400,000 players for a game and PS3 has 300,000 players for a game, who really cares. there are plently people playing both and in my opinion PS3 is growing rapidly. 360 would be NO WHERE without the HALO series. 360's also have more problems than any console in history. my wish would be that the next Gears of War would come out on PS3. i know that Halo won't though. All in all, 360 had its day, but the console was never meant to last. PS3 is meant to last. PS3 is the now and is the future. Both great consoles. i love my 360, but you have to move on at some point.
