Oh yeah, we complete everything. It's just super easy right now. We don't skip anything.

Good info. I didn't know that. I was wondering where that came from. That backpack SDU is crucial.

Anything that shoots fire, lighting, etc.

It is taking me a while to get used to it.

The biggest thing for me was figuring out the RPG elements. Leveling up and deciding which weapons are best for my character. If it doesn't have a high rate of elemental damage or a decent multiplier, I sell it.

Pretty much weapons that have some sort of elemental component. There are weapons that are corrosive, which are good against armor. Weapons that have fire, which obviously can burn flesh. Weapons that explode, which are exactly what they sound like There are weapons that freeze, which I honestly never used. Then there are weapons that have an electric component, which work well against shields.

Fire elemental all the way. Love seeing them burn bright and then vanish. I might need help.

I loved fire at first, but as the game went on my go to was the corrosive weapons. I would love seeing them melt away

Remember those two weapons of mine I showe you at the very end last night?

One was a SMG that lights shite on fire.

One was a sniper rifle that eletrecuted the slags.

Elemental weapons do extra damage on top of what the Damage rate does. Like F machine said. There is corrosive, incindiary, explosive, and shock elements. So my Sniper rifle may not have that high of a damage rate but if it has a high shock elemental multiplier I am basically shocking them to death with every round or most.

Take a look at this picture of a this guns stats:

At the top you see the level required to use the gun.

In the middle of the box you see Damage, Accuracy, and Fire Rate.

Pistols typically have low damage, good accuracy, and varying fire rate depending on the type. Pistols can be really good for the hunter and the Bezerker classes.

SMG's have high fire rates, lower damage, and lower accuracy, but up close against human opponents it's like MW3. The more bullets you pump into an opponent regardless of Damage rate the better. But SMG's work better for the Siren

Assault rifles have good everything generally. But are best in the hands of a Soldier character.

Shotguns have higher damage, usually there is a multiplier too. Low accuracy. Medium fire rate depending on each gun. Best for the Soldier.

Sniper rifles have high damage and accuracy, but typically low Fire Rate. Best in the hands of the Hunter.

The reason I'm saying "best in the hands of" is each character has a gun type that thru their skill tree they can improve the Damage, Accuracy, and Fire Rate by using their skill points.

Now notice in the bottom right the x3 Green BioHazard figure. That means this gun does x3 out of 4 Corrosive Damage on top of its base Damage Rate. I could be wrong but the way I see it is the x1, x2, x3, x4 elemental damage works like this. x3 means that out of every 4 bullets fired, 3 will be elemental. So x4 you are hitting them with whatever elemental damage every round fired. Just because a gun has average damage, accuracy, and fire rates doesn't mean it's bad of it has a x2,x3,x4 element. My best weapons are average but have x3 or x4 elemental rates.

Where you the Damage, Accuracy, and Fire Rates you will always see a free arrow sign pointing up or a red arrow sign pointing down. This allows you to compare these rates to your current weapons.

So if you find an assault rifle lying on the ground, switch to your best assault rifle and compare the damage, accuracy, and fire rates of the one on the ground using the arrows.

Also I kept seeing you do this last night. When you find a weapon. Hold down X to swap it with the weapon in your hand, tap X to keep both but put the one you found in your backpack. You can then go to your inventory swap them out, but hold on the the worse one to sell at the vending machines.

I used the hunter. Towards the end I only had one corrosive gun, and it was a pistol. I beat the shite out of the soldier guys with that bad arse armor (don't remember their names)

I played alone cause I'm a loser with no friends, so I assume it's even better multiplayer.

Aww man, Co-Op is what makes Borderlands.

There's more bad guys and harder to kill bad guys, but more loot! Not to mention being able to help each other out swapping weapons, shields, and reviving each other. When you've got a soldier who's turret gives ammo and health, plus a Bezerker who is a walking tank against bosses, Lilith looking sexy, and a badass Hunter sniping enemies that get to close to the team. You are a force to be reckoned with.

I play on ps3, and most of my friends don't really play games, so I'm sort of stuck playing alone.
