Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is an upcoming Soulslike action role-playing game developed by Leenzee and published by 505 Games. The player assumes the role of Bai Wuchang, a female pirate, embarking on a journey through the war-torn and plague-ravaged lands of Shu during the late Ming dynasty.

Launches July 23. Looks absolutely incredible and another 49.99 game. Sexy women with swords!

That’s the Wikipedia definition. I think it will be more like a hack and slash. IMO it’ll be as much as a souls like as Stellar Blade

I’m really digging this continuous trend of AA games made with modern game development tools that can compete with AAA visuals but bring new innovations like settings we rarely see (china here), mythology we rarely see things based on, and implementing iterations in gameplay that drive genres forward undercutting the market at that 49.99$ price point.

I wonder what phantom blade 0 will price at? I’ll guess 60$

Soulslike games from non-Fromsoft devs vary greatly in quality.

Some of them are outstanding, others meh, others pretty bad.

So you really never know until people get their hands on it.

I think it looks very promising based on what we've seen. The only thing I don't like in the trailers is the amount of visual clutter in the boss fights. The constant barrage of sparks, flames, lighting, smoke, etc. You can barely see wtf is going on most of the time.
