Will We Ever Get SWTOR On Console?

Or something similar, seems to me it would sell like hot cakes. Lots of money being left on the table.

You really want it? It wasn't bad by any means from what I remember they just killed it with stupid monetization and poor end game. Leveling experience was pretty cool and I'm not even a huge SW nerd. I played at launch and it's probably a totally different game now from what I remember.

It is strange this never came out on console considering ESO did, and SWTOR is getting a new expansion soon.
Some of the best stories in the entire Star Wars mythos came from this game.

Swear I was thinking about this yesterday. Not necessarily because I want it, but I was thinking about how no one else has followed ESO and FF14's lead in doing console ports for MMOs. I used to play swtor back in the day and I was convinced that when Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion hit that bioware was going working towards a console release. Pretty much everything had a solo mode once that expansion hit and with all of the single player content I thought if they dumbed down the abilities a bit that it would translate well to consoles.

Not sure there's enough money in it to make it viable, plus the engine the game runs on is horribly optimized.

you must be some kind of Nostradamus. they just announced a remake during the playstation showcase show.

He was asking about SWTOR, which is an online MMO.
KOTOR remake is what was announced. Which is a single player RPG.
But the OP does need to check out the showcase because he was complaining about gamescom just a short time ago.

Yeah checked it out last night. Definitely will be playing
