The Dual Shocks especially have always sucked for first person shooters.

FC3 100% has aim assist, as does every single console shooter. Bring the reticle close to a person and hold L2, the reticle will snap to them. From there you just flick the right stick up for a headshot (or wherever you like). Use and abuse, it becomes very second nature

As someone who relied heavily on sniping in FC3, I would rather carve my eyes out with a spoon

Maybe don’t play games you suck at? The on out game I can think that even can justify maybe needing this is rdr2 that said I played and beat the game without it and they hear the features there.

Agree 100% kbm >>>>> controller when it comes to fps. I do have to say that fallout does a good job of finding the middle ground with VATS that works well for consoles but isn't any kind of auto kill. It has the RPG elements to it that make that sensible, wouldn't really work in most FPS though
