I've beaten links awakening so many times. I love that game.

Still haven't played this yet. Waiting for a friend to finish it so I can borrow it from them without having to spend $60.
I have it and got maybe halfway before loaning it to a friend. Thought he would eat it up. I checked with him a few weeks later and he didn't play much past finding the girl. Said it never clicked. Maybe that's the same for me as well because I feel like I've forced myself as far as I've gotten so far.

I picked up Hitman: Absolution because it was cheap. Really liking it. I wish i would have gotten in to it earlier.

Power went out at work and still not on so I took a long lunch, went home, beat arkham city. That was a great game. I still plan on playing and beating a few side missions. I think in going to try and give ac3 a shot now.

Playing it on 3ds, been awesome.
How is the 3DS? I think I'm gonna have to grab one soon, especially with the sequel to LTTP coming out.

The only one I haven't beaten. I got stuck as a kid and never finished it. I think it was in the ice temple.

It's a very similar style to a link to the past. Its a sequel but not a direct sequel I think. With zelda the timelines are usually not important
point is they are making another link to the past style game with was my favorite.

Yeah, AC had some plot twists and turns I did not see coming. Also, playing Uncharted 3 reminded me of how good AA and AC's combat system is. Naughty Dog should just copy it because the fisticuffs in Uncharted 3 were unsatisfying by comparison. No idea how they feel in TLOU, but I hope it's improved.
I didn't like AC2 all that much so I think that series has lost me for now. I know lots of people who love those games, though.
I plan on playing Tomb Raider and Heavy Rain next.

Last of us doesn't have very good controls either

Well, that is disappointing to hear but I didn't mean that Uncharted 3 had bad controls. At least, I don't think it does. I just think the hand to hand combat is boring and not very engaging. It's similar to Batman's but it feels more like a quick time event than something you are actively participating in.

I haven't played uc3 but the last of us combat is similar to uncharted 1. It just has more stealth. There is not really hand to hand combat, more stabbing clickers with ships in the neck.

These are the games I've beaten since last year:
Dishonored - Loved it
Medal of Honor (2009) - it was ok. not great.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - good game, I liked AC2 better
Far Cry 3 - Loved it
Tomb Raider - Loved it. Not as much as Far Cry 3 or Dishonored.
Bioshock Infinite - Loved it. Liked first Bioshock better, though. Story was good
Guacamelee - Really fun game. Got to the end. Game breaking bug stopped me from progressing. It's been patched. I have to get back to it
The Last of Us - Loved it, didn't think it was overhyped. But I honestly didn't read a whole lot about the game or watch a lot of videos except for a few trailers.
Trying to decide what to play next: Just picked up Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I also have the original Splinter Cell HD trilogy that I haven't played except for the first few levels in the first Splinter Cell. I did beat Double Agent and Conviction on 360 and liked those.
I don't know what to do lol
