I'm pretty sure you didn't have to beat this level to advance in the game. Having said that, it was the hardest level I ever played. The fact that it sucked (loved the rest of the game) made it worse.
I made it through the Ferris Wheel level in 3 or 4 tries, but I just got lucky. First couple of times I got demolished. Last time things just went my way.

On sonic 2, what I'm guessing was the last level where you had to fight a robot Sonic, then Robotnik in a huge robot suit. Except there were no rings on the level so if you got hit you died.

Bad Dudes is a generally hard game.
Spirit Temple and Water Temple without game guides.
I agree with any Mega Man ever.
