For $180 a year there is nothing on the list that is worth that for me. All the good games I own already or have played and don’t much care to play again.

Then the Xbox clearly isn't for you but what about someone who is getting back into gaming or doesn't rush out to buy all of the latest gaming titles?

To be fair, I have both Game Pass and PSN subs. The collection of PS4 games available on the PS5 is pretty damn awesome.

It hasn’t been since the 360. Microsoft hasn’t done much to impress since the 360 actually. I also own a PC.

My perspective will change if they put better exclusives on there or more games that interest me. Just isn’t there yet.

And obviously it’s just a matter of opinion but to say its just a better selling point is not accurate....because again...opinion. If Microsoft wants to steal PlayStation players they have to make better games and give reasons to go out and buy the console. I hope they do. I really enjoyed my time on the Xbox 360 because the PS3 was trash. Not sure what happened but PlayStation has owned the market since.

Game pass is by far the best thing to happen to gaming in a long time. So many interesting games you would normally never buy.

Yep, and obviously so. Much better than anything Sony is doing with PlayStation, and they're too proud to admit it. They're doing to themselves what Nintendo did when they passed on PS1.

I mean Nintendo and Sony are doing something right.

But keep holding on to that gamepass.

Lol

This is far from the truth. Look I want to own an Xbox. I troll a little and it’s all fun and games but when I objectively step back and look at consoles...Xbox right now is just lagging behind and the sooner the Xbox fanbois realize that and begin to press Microsoft to make changes it will continue to left behind.

Now their recent acquisitions is a great move and it’s about damn time, but we will see if it pays offs.

But I promise you...very few people who own a Sony console are really concerned about little brother right now.

Gotta love the "console sales" argument when talking about Game Pass. You're not even speaking the right language.

That's what they're going for. And it's smart. Consoles are loss leaders. If they can get people on board with Game Pass and need to sell less consoles at a loss, that's a win.

He talks like a game subscription service is new when it's been on PC for years and with multiple other passes too from damn near every one.

Well I mean if all you own is an Xbox...gamepass is all you got to brag about and it’s not even really a brag. So I get it. But it’s pretty laughable.

Best thing to happen to gaming in decades. You guys already look silly by denying it now. Before long you'll be embarrassed to remember you ever held this opinion.

Denying what? You're like 2 years late to the sub service party.

Right but we are talking about consoles. I’m not sure you could afford to build a PC if your pinching pennies via game pass and putting Xbox on credit.

All Access is a great deal, with no interest, and I'm glad I was able to get it. Had nothing to do with ability to purchase an XBox outright.

As inflation issues continue to get out of hand, my decision continues to look like the correct one.

Then why is Xbox struggling vs Nintendo and Sony if it isn’t price?

It isn't. Who told you XBox was struggling?

Also, what on earth does that have to do with my decision to purchase a Series X through All Access?

Let me ask a better question then.

What is stopping Xbox from competing with other consoles?

Sales in Europe, Africa and Asia? Outside of North America, it doesn't sell very well.
