played recon at lunch, was a lot of fun, minus the fact my team got absolutely destroyed
c4 on tanks is funny
motion balls around A and B lead to a lot of assists.
map was the Island... all 3 squadmates were snipin... we didnt cap the first objective
also when playing defence.. no med kits or resupply boxes in sight

almost impossible to play lonewolf on BFBC2.
i've tried and it turns into a k/d contest. i know i'm bad about sitting back and sniping but there have been times where even i am like, "frick, no one else is going for points, guess I better do it"

You can go 30+ with a nuke but he didn't have it equipped.

i can see sniping on rush offence being good if done correctly...
1) lots of mortar to open up to break their opening defensive stand a bit
2) get a clear shot on the objective and snipe anyone trying to disarm it (WARNING: REQUIRES SKILL)
3) take ppl off AA weapons (WARNING: REQUIRES THOUGHT)
4) mortar on the objective if you dont have clear sights to the MCOM station
standing on a hill overlooking a fairly small base with 12 ppl in it does result in some great sniper opportunities, and is a lot of fun, i see the appeal, and ill be doing it when not playing with LESI's for sure.

I started out booster hunting but kept gettin popped by people that were actually playin for keeps. went -6 the 1st time out.Gave up and played normal. Would be more fun with 2+ hunters

I actually had 2 people talking about it Sunday. "Let's just wait until we get to a big map". Needless to say, they fricking hated me!!!

Yesterday I was playing and there were three guys in my room boosting. I told the lobby and we all sought them out the entire game. It was great. I would run right by one of the guys on my side to get to the boosters and we wouldnt shoot each other. Pretty damn funny. The booster started callin us cheating figs.

that's when I click on the mic and start bitching. You have to be careful though, since booster justice has gotten so damn popular a lot of these boosting figs keep guards and lookouts.
Three man crews can easily be toppled but a well placed four man crew is hard to break up. Luckily I've only seen the four man crew twice.

nice. i should find out tonight.
i'm 5k xp from 14. and i'm at 188 & 189 out of 200 heashots with a sniper rifle for 2 sniper headshot pins that are worth 5k a piece.
do you still have to head shot them everytime for a kill with magnum on?

well man i struggled through at first with that first sniper rifle, and barely got any headshots as it was . the single shot kinda threw me off
got the 2nd sniper rifle (automatic one) just today and i was able to take some fools down in 2-3 shots and i know i wasn't hitting their head
i fully expect you to go beast mode with this Spec

nice. the m24 was my go to gun for the longest, but then i went to the GOL rifle, and now my go to is the M95. maxed out damage. pair that with magnum bullets and it should be beast.
how is magnum on the other weapons? assault & lmg?
that revolver/magnum pistol is a beast too, fwiw.
...yeh, as soon as I saw that specialization it was over. my only goal since has to been to rank up high enough to get it and see how my sniping does with it.
but, i'm curious about the increased power of explosives specialization too.
wonder if that'll make my mortar strikes even more lethal?
