What Do Y'all Know About Destiny???

I have seen that it is a FPS but it seems to have some RPG elements to it ... also it seems to me that it will be very similar if not in fact an MMO on a console.
Anyway I just was wanting to see if anyone else had a better grasp on what this game is and what to expect from it.

I know its has Bungie and Activision behind it. Although I'm not sure how much of the Bungie team stayed with 343 or how much of the Activision COD team is still around.

The story is supposed to last for ten years in some kind of living sandbox world. In true bungee fashion you're left with more questions than answers.

I am assuming it will be on the next Gen consoles given that it is not on the outlook for 2013. I will be buying a next gen (probably PS4) at or around launch so I hope it is on there.

My buddy works for Bungie and says this thing is going to be beyond massive. Supposedly the story line is going to evolve depending on how the players play the game over the course of a decade. So I assume that means we'll make our own plot line depending on what the community does.

The only game that I can think of that had that period of sustained success would be World of Warcraft. I am looking forward to seeing content delivery on a FPS game of this scale though.

I'm staying away from it lol. So far I've never played WoW,stayed away from Skyrim, said no to LoL, like the OP said, just looks like a mmo console game. The kind kids die over bc some Koreans are too busy in the other room on a 48 hour binge
