Walmart.com says my PS5 AC Valhalla is releasing 12/3.

Should I be concerned?
The PS4 version launches Nov 10th, but it's a free upgrade to PS5. Is the PS5 physical release delayed until Dec?
The handling of the next gen "launch" titles has been a mess, so I have no idea what games are actually available on day one.

From what I can see, it's supposed to be out the same day as the PS4 or on PS5 launch.

Maybe it's the same thing as Cyberpunk, no PS5 "version" at launch, just the PS4 version which is compatible with the PS5.
That may be when the PS5 enhanced version releases though but seems quick? Cyberpunk still has no release date just 2021.

Guess I will go digital then.

I don't think that's correct. You can order the physical version directly from Ubisoft's store, etc. You have the option of buying the PS4 version, either digital or disc, and upgrading it to the PS5 version.

I'm not sure how AC: Valhalla is doing it but for games like Cyberpunk its just the PS4 version.
Does AC: Valhalla even have a next gen enhanced version or is it just the same PS4 version with upscaling?
Cyberpunk is just an upscaled PS4 version at launch, and some time in 2021 getting a next gen enhanced version.
Can't wait for all the "Man this doesn't look much better than my PS4" comments.

In any case, Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting a "more robust update" in 2021, supposedly adding all of the next-gen bells and whistles that you'd expect. This update will be free for everyone who owns the game on current-gen consoles. This specific plan was already partly confirmed by CD Projekt Red earlier this year, when it announced that the game would receive a free upgrade on Xbox Series X.

Ah okay, thought maybe it was a release date similar to Cyberpunk being delayed on an enhanced version.
ETA: Looks like AC has no enhanced version with ray tracing or machine learning and is just upscaled 4K.
