What is it with Gamestop and not keeping a stock of newly released titles?
I go to my local gamestop for a copy of Sonic Forces, and it's nowhere to be seen on the PS4, Switch, or Xbox One. Neither do they have Wolfenstein II.
I go to my local Walmart, they have Wolfenstein 2, Sonic Forces, the new Need for Speed, and even the .HACK trilogy remaster.

Shocked that people even shop at Gamestop anymore. Don't think I have been to one in 10 years.

Same. Steam usually has everything in stock on launch day

About the only thing I'll purchase there now is PS Store cards.

I mean, if you want a physical copy of a game. Steam is obviously the go to for PC because physical releases on PC barely exist anymore. For console, I will purchase a multiplayer game digitally but not necessarily a single player game unless it's on discount.
I pre-order most games on Amazon for the Amazon Prime discount, but if I don't get a game on launch day, buying a physical copy in store is usually the fastest way to obtain it, provided the store has it in stock.
