in signing in the child, it may/may not immediately sign out the parent and vice versa, but this is the kick..

So, in an effort to get a profile for the kids, i setup a new profile with my wife's email address.
1) Is there a way to setup a child profile that doesn't require registering with microsoft and an email address?
2) Or do i set the profile i setup as a "child" profile?
Sorry for the questions, but to me, this shite seems overly complicated.

I've read this thread even though it says Xbox. This sound exactly like what I did for my kids to play their PS5 with my games.

I honestly don't remember having to do this. Not sure what email we used for my kids' account.
