What a weird game. I got this on Steam sale during the weekend, and I think I want to play it through to completion.
I understand that you can almost always avoid combat, but does it get any better at all though? Right now it's a real slog when not using effort points

I played it some and then something happened and my save got destroyed and I said frick it.
The game isn’t very good imho. Interesting story and interesting world building, but boring.

Same. Torment was one of the best I've played back in '99, so I was excited about this one. Real slog without clear objectives. Lost interest in about 4 hours and haven't played for months.
