Well, after reading this thread I was really hoping that I could play some newer Zelda using the Wii virtual console. It looks like I will need to upgrade to the Wii U...
I haven't played a Zelda game since beating Skyward Sword shortly after it's release. Well, I might have went back and tried to play Majora's mask, but that game is all over the place...

I am in the process of beating Windwaker HD and I really don't care for it that much. My least favorite Zelda of all time and I have played all but the handhelds.

You can play the following on the Wii and Wii u. The only one you would be missing out on is the Windwaker HD remake. As of now.

Don't get me wrong, still a good game. Are not all Zelda's?
I am just not a fan of all the sailing around back and forth, I am a land dweller. Give me Epona. Wasn't that into the sunken treasure and map side quest. Tedious and I am the type to complete everything. Although it is not really a big deal, I am not into that art style either.
With that said Zelda and Zelda 2 rank above it on my list because of the nostalgia reason. But I really just rather all the other Zelda games straight up.

I would not only love MM for 3DS but a HD remake of MM for WiiU.
I'm extremely bias though since it is my favorite Zelda title.

Those 3 are the Holy Grail of Zelda's for me.

I hope we can have it both ways like they're doing with Smash. With the 3DS just make it the original but with better graphics and in 3D. With WiiU version, add 4 new lands in the NE, SE, SW, and NW and two new transformation masks. That would be sick.
