Ok finch.. since nobody else is around, it's up to us to keep this thread going. Are you seriously not going to go with BF3!?! Also.. maybe you should try out Halo Anniversary since you probably haven't really gotten into online play for Halo before?

Wasn't that the big problem when they announced Anniversary: no online MP?

I wish they would realize that they would sell 56 billion copies of that game if they would bring the original Halo MP to online.

it's just not my style of game either. i don't like to get into the scifi type stuff or the mythical rainbow rpgs like oblivion.i like real life military shooters, college sports games, and action adventure like batman, assassins creed, and uncharted type games.

oh.. see I like pretty much anything, I have always loved the CoD stories and the Halo stories. "Military Shooters" then you need to get Battlefield, cause CoD and Halo or more alike in that both of them are unrealistic! If nothing else, CoD is more unrealistic than Halo cause it take more bullets to kill someone in CoD.

The main thing that COD fans will point out when blasting Halo is the fact that it takes you an eternity to drop someone, which is true, but it just depends if you can be open to that kind of game.

What I always give to Halo over the COD series is the level playing field. Everyone has the same load out. No special perks or overpowered weapons. Basically comes down to who is the better player. And I know, the better play will win out in COD most times as well, but at least in Halo, you don't have to worry about how many pro perks your opponent is running.

Wait.. in CoD if you are good.. or bad you get perks that put you ahead of other players? Man.. if that's true I really do like BF3 or Halo better, I don't want to be running around a map in CoD getting destroyed by people because I don't start out in the beginning, or am not as good at first..

I was being sarcastic.. sorta.. I like that in Halo the "good" players use DMRs, which means you run around dropping people in 2-3 shots.

Most of the "good player videos" I've seen from CoD, are people using an Assault Rifle with the Red Dot, which means: See Someone - Pull Trigger down - Hold for a few seconds - Dead.

Now that I've started learning the DMR.. I kinda like the idea of making sure you place a shot in the correct place, instead of bullet spraying.

Everyone has the perks, but in BLOPS, you have to earn credit points to buy them, and you have to complete 3 challenges to earn the pro on each. For example, sleight of hand perk makes you reload faster, but once you earn the pro perk, you bring up ADS (aim down sight) even faster. This is a HUGE advantage, and one you sometimes don't notice until you play a class without it. I usually only run SOH Pro in my second slot.

MW3 will be done by IW or whoever they are now, and they have their own style of COD. Both them and Treyarch share the basic foundations for the game, but each have their own touch to them. IW did Spec Ops, and Treyarch with Wager and Zombies.
