So the 2 or 3 70-10 butt whippings UF used to put on their patsy opponents was more competitive?

nah, that was just skill.

Another thing, how many "real" battles does a college football team (even in the SEC) get each season? The team that's usually going to win the NC in the SEC is going to have 2-3 "close" games at MOST.. and we brag about our conference, it's much worst in other conferences.

and don't even get me started on no tournament in div 1 football..

disagree...LSU in 07, every fricking game was a battle.

SEC games are always a battle...unless vanderbilt is playing

I think in 07 the SEC was more "even" as well.. lately it seems a team goes undefeated if they are going to win the SEC these days.

You know NFL football is more competitive.

Is college football more exciting? I'd say so. More intense? Possibly. But not more competitive.

i think 2 out of 3 pretty much seals the deal on which is better.

SEC was stacked that year

You should learn to appreciate both of them. Besides, they're both a reason to drink some beer and throw something on the pit.

Finch likes college football more. That's fine and perhaps understandable. He just needs to quit coming up with dumb arguments to explain his preference.

College + NFL = Every weekend rocks from September to January.

i think the ratings, revenue and exposure of the NFL dwarfing something as great and exciting as college football speaks for itself

NFL is top dog

it's not even that...I used to like college more, but the Saints more than LSU if that makes sense...

The NFL is just a better product. the amazing in college is routine in the NFL.
